THE ROLES
We currently have several exciting opportunities for Certificate III Educators across our centres:
• Gumnut Cottage
• 2 x Full-time, ongoing positions
• Mia Mia Child and Family Study Centre
• 1 x Full-time, fixed-term position (until 23 December 2025)
• Banksia Cottage
• 1 x Full-time, ongoing position
Reporting to the Room Leader, you will be an advocate for children, believe in quality early education and the value of relationships, and be willing to collaborate with the university community.

ABOUT YOU
You are a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator who:
Contributes to the planning and delivery of educational programs, including developmental records
Interacts respectfully and positively with children and families
Works collaboratively and respectfully within a large, diverse team
Maintains a current understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
Supports and actively contributes to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Demonstrates commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
Follows approved policies and procedures to keep children safe (child protection, supervision, health and wellbeing)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

ACECQA approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Approved First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Working with Children Check (please provide your clearance number in the resume)
Flexibility with work hours, including occasional out-of-hours meetings
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
Demonstrated experience working with children aged 0–5 years in a regulated early learning setting
Experience contributing to the implementation of inclusive educational programs
Awareness of child development and knowledge of appropriate engagement strategies
Ability to supervise children and maintain a safe, clean learning environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the EYLF, National Law, Regulations, and child protection legislation, including responsibilities as a Mandatory Reporter
Demonstrated computer literacy (e.g. Office 365)
Proven ability to build respectful, ethical relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and a strong commitment to contributing to a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture
